YES if the seasonally adjusted count of total nonfarm job openings in the United States for September 2026, as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) in its Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS), is 7,400,000 (7,400 thousand) or more; otherwise NO. The figure comes from the September 2026 JOLTS release, scheduled for 3 November 2026 at 10:00 AM ET (bls.gov/jlt). The report lists openings in thousands, and that precision is used; rounding in the headline number does not matter where a more precise figure is printed. A value exactly on the line between two ranges belongs to the higher range, so each middle range includes its lower end and excludes its upper end. If the BLS does not publish the figure on the scheduled date, the prediction waits until the scheduled time of the next JOLTS release in the 2026 BLS calendar; if the September figure is still missing then, the most recent earlier month with published data is used with these same ranges.
Each percentage is the market’s current estimate of how likely that answer is. A contract settles at 100p if the answer is right and at 0p if it is wrong.
