Resolves YES if, by 11:59 PM Brasília time on 24 October 2026 (02:59 UTC on 25 October), Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Flávio Bolsonaro both speak at least once during the same Brazilian presidential debate that a television broadcaster shows live. Taking part by live video link counts; a pre-recorded appearance does not. Not enough for YES: a candidate who is invited or announced but does not speak, an empty lectern, an interview with only one candidate, two separate interviews on the same evening, or a debate that is called off. Any broadcaster, channel and day before the deadline will do. The broadcast footage is the main basis; broad agreement among reliable news reports will also be considered, and the footage decides if the two differ. If a report is later corrected, the corrected version is used; the footage keeps priority. Otherwise NO.
