Key terms

• 18+ (or the legal age where you live, if higher). Customers in the United Kingdom, Canada and Latin America, new and existing. One free trade per person.
• Enter one Promo Code, or sign up through a link of one of our partners, and verify your identity. No deposit and no card are needed.
• Once your identity is verified, we add 5 of Free Trade Credit in your account currency (£5, $5 or €5) to your account. If you enter the code after verification, it is added straight away.

1. The promoter

1.1 This promotion (the "Promotion") is run for customers resident in the United Kingdom by versus Inc (trading as "versus"), a company registered in the Isle of Man with company number 023191V, of 14 Albert Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 2QA, licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 101143 (licence number 101143-R-342325-002); and for customers resident in Canada and Latin America by versus International Inc. (trading as "versus"), a company registered in the Isle of Man with company number 023293V, of the same address. "versus", "we" and "us" mean the company you hold your account with.

1.2 The Promotion is advertised for us by Better Media Ltd and its sites WhichBookie, SpinWizard and MonkeyBet, and by Leadstar Media AB and its sites BookiesBonuses and MyBettingSites. They are not the promoter and cannot change these terms or promise anything about the Promotion on our behalf. Their pages address new customers in the United Kingdom; the Promotion itself is open to everyone these terms describe.

2. How these terms work

2.1 These promotion terms apply together with the versus Terms & Conditions that apply to your account, the Terms & Conditions (UK) for customers in the United Kingdom and the Terms & Conditions (International) for everyone else, and our Betting Rules. Capitalised words have the meaning given in your Terms & Conditions unless defined here. If the Terms & Conditions conflict with these promotion terms, these promotion terms apply to the Promotion.

2.2 Your Terms & Conditions say promotional value is not cash. The Free Trade Credit is promotional value (clause 6.3). Winnings from predictions you place with it are cash (clause 6.5).

3. When the Promotion runs

3.1 You can enter a Promo Code from 26 October 2026 until the Promotion ends (the "Redemption Period"). We publish the end of the Redemption Period on this page at least 24 hours in advance (clause 8.1).

3.2 Your Free Trade Credit is valid for 7 days from the moment it is added to your account (your "Credit Window"), even if the Promotion ends in the meantime. A prediction placed within your Credit Window counts, however long the market takes to settle.

4. Who can take part

4.1 You can take part only if, when you enter the Promo Code: (a) you are 18 or over, or the legal age for gambling where you live if that is higher; (b) you live in, and are located in, the United Kingdom, Canada or one of the countries in Latin America where versus accepts customers (clause 4.4), and your account is held in pounds sterling, Canadian dollars, US dollars or euros; (c) you have not received a Free Trade Credit before, under any Promo Code of this Promotion, and you do not have, and have never had, another versus account; (d) you have completed, or go on to complete, our identity, age and address checks (the credit is added once they are complete); (e) you are not self-excluded (in Great Britain including through GAMSTOP), you are not on a time-out, and your account is not frozen, restricted or closed; and (f) you are not an employee of versus Inc, versus International Inc., Better Media Ltd or Leadstar Media AB, a contributor to this campaign, or an immediate family member of any of them.

4.2 One per person. Each person can benefit from this Promotion once, with one Promo Code, on one account, whether they are a new or an existing customer and whether or not they have used another versus offer before (for example TRADE25 or "Your first loss is on us").

4.3 If we have identified signs that gambling may be causing you harm, we may stop you entering a Promo Code or using the credit. This never affects winnings you have already made.

4.4 Latin America. The Promotion is open in the countries where versus accepts customers in Latin America, as shown when you register. We may change that list; the list in force when you enter a Promo Code applies to you.

5. How to take part

5.1 Enter one Promo Code (WHICHBOOKIE, SPINWIZARD, MONKEYBET, BETTERMEDIA, BBFREE5 or MSBFREE5) in the app under Deposit → Redeem voucher or on the website under Settings → Payments → Promo Code. If you join through a WhichBookie, SpinWizard, MonkeyBet, Better Media, BookiesBonuses or MyBettingSites page or link, that code may be filled in for you; you still need to confirm it.

5.2 All six Promo Codes give the same offer. You can use only one of them.

5.3 No deposit, card or payment details are needed to take part. If you want to predict with more than the credit, you can deposit at any time.

5.4 By entering a Promo Code you agree to these promotion terms.

6. The Free Trade Credit

6.1 What you get. Free Trade Credit of 5 in your account currency (£5.00, CA$5.00, US$5.00 or €5.00), added to your versus account once your identity, age and address checks are complete. If they were complete when you entered the code, the credit is added straight away. We add it automatically, normally within minutes and in any case within 72 hours of the checks completing.

6.2 Using it. The credit sits in your versus balance and can be used for predictions on any versus market, in whole or in part, at the prices and the transaction fee shown before you confirm each prediction.

6.3 What it is not. The Free Trade Credit is promotional value under your Terms & Conditions, not cash. You can't withdraw it, transfer it or exchange it for cash, and it is removed if your account is closed under the Terms & Conditions.

6.4 Expiry. Credit you have not used within 7 days of it being added is removed from your account.

6.5 Winnings. Winnings from predictions you place with the credit are yours. They are paid to your balance when the market settles and can be withdrawn under the normal rules for your balance in your Terms & Conditions, including our identity and payment checks.

6.6 Fair use. The credit is meant for genuine predictions. Predictions placed only to turn the credit into cash, in particular on an outcome at the floor price (the lowest price a market allows), do not count as using the credit and do not release it or their winnings for withdrawal.

6.7 Void predictions, errors and checks. If a prediction placed with the credit is void or cancelled under our Terms & Conditions, the stake normally returns to your balance in the form it was placed (credit as credit, cash as cash). If a prediction is voided or corrected under the error rules of our Terms & Conditions, we recalculate on the corrected basis and may correct any credit or winnings added by mistake. We may delay adding the credit only while we complete checks the law requires, and we add it once they are complete.

7. Fair play

7.1 If we have reasonable grounds, based on evidence, to believe you have opened more than one account, acted with or for someone else to claim this Promotion more than once, used automated means, or placed predictions that offset each other to turn the credit into cash, we may decline or remove the credit and any winnings from it, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

7.2 The prohibited-activity rules of your Terms & Conditions also apply. This clause never allows us to withhold your deposits or winnings from your own cash stakes.

8. Changing or ending the Promotion

8.1 We may end the Promotion, or change these terms for people who have not yet entered a code, by publishing the change on this page at least 24 hours in advance, unless legal, regulatory or fraud reasons require us to act sooner.

8.2 If you have already entered a Promo Code, your credit of 5 in your account currency, your Credit Window and the way your winnings are paid will not change to your disadvantage unless the law or our regulator requires it.

9. Your information

9.1 We record which partner link or Promo Code you used and when you registered, completed verification, received the credit, made your first deposit and placed predictions, together with your deposits and real-money prediction volume in your first 30 days. We use this to run the Promotion and, if you are a new customer introduced by a partner, to work out what we pay that partner (Better Media Ltd or Leadstar Media AB) for introducing you. An existing customer who enters a partner's code is not attributed to that partner.

9.2 A partner sees this information only under a pseudonymous reference. We never share your name, contact details, payment details or identity documents, and the partner may not try to identify you. See our Privacy Policy (United Kingdom) or Privacy Policy (everywhere else).

10. Safer gambling

Set deposit, loss and time limits, take a break or self-exclude in Settings › Safety Play. Email support@versusapp.com or use in-app support. Send formal complaints to complaints@versusapp.com. Customers in the United Kingdom whose complaint is not resolved within 8 weeks, or who are unhappy with our final response, can refer it to IBAS (ibas-uk.com) free of charge. Everyone else follows the complaints and disputes section of the Terms & Conditions (International).

12.1 These promotion terms are published at versusuk.com/terms/promotions/free-trade and versusapp.com/terms/promotions/free-trade, and at versusuk.com/whichbookie (and versusuk.com/spinwizard, versusuk.com/monkeybet, versusuk.com/bettermedia, versusuk.com/bookiesbonuses, versusuk.com/mybettingsites) for the whole Redemption Period and until every Credit Window has ended and every related market has settled.
