Any other finishing position is NO, and the prediction turns NO as soon as third becomes out of reach for Shandong Taishan. When clubs are level on the table, the club the CSL itself recognises as third decides. Should the CSL officially award third to more than one club, only the club whose name as listed here comes first in alphabetical order counts as third. If the season is cancelled, is pushed back beyond 23:59 ET on 31 Dec 2026, or no third-placed club is declared by that time, no listed club takes third and Shandong Taishan settles NO. The CSL's own announcements decide; consistent reports from reputable news outlets may also be used.
