YES applies if the San Francisco 49ers remain undefeated longer than every other team during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Count only regular-season games; postseason games are ignored, and a tie is not a defeat. NO applies once the 49ers cannot finish as that team. If several clubs record their initial defeat on one calendar day, or several clubs complete the regular season without a defeat, compare the number of games each played before its initial defeat, regardless of ties. Any remaining equality is settled by higher strength of victory, then higher strength of schedule, across all games under the NFL's official procedures; if still equal, the full team name that comes first alphabetically wins. The Other outcome is excluded from these comparisons. If the regular season is cancelled, delayed beyond 24 January 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or its last unbeaten team cannot be identified by then, the event outcome is Other and resolves to NO in this binary listing.
