This market resolves Yes if the government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) explicitly announces, on or before January 1, 2027, 5:59 AM CET, that Chinese citizens will be legally allowed to buy Bitcoin with yuan, or renminbi, from inside China. Otherwise, it resolves No. Only the announcement is required. Whether the change is actually implemented has no bearing on resolution. The primary resolution source is official PRC information, supplemented by a consensus of credible reporting.
Each percentage is the market’s current estimate of how likely that answer is. A contract settles at 100p if the answer is right and at 0p if it is wrong.
