YES if Atlético Madrid is officially declared runner-up in LaLiga for 2026–27; otherwise NO. If several clubs receive that status, YES only if Atlético Madrid is among them and its name comes first alphabetically among those clubs from this list: Alavés, Athletic Bilbao, Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Celta Vigo, Deportivo La Coruña, Elche, Espanyol, Getafe, Levante, Málaga, Osasuna, Racing Santander, Rayo Vallecano, Real Betis, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Valencia, Villarreal. The answer becomes NO as soon as LaLiga's rules make second place impossible for Atlético Madrid. If another club is runner-up, the answer is NO. Cancellation, postponement beyond 31 July 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or no declared runner-up by then also means NO. LaLiga's official announcement is the primary evidence; consistent accounts from reputable sports reporting may also be used.
