As of 11 October 2026, 00:29 UTC, versus prices Hannah Pingree (D) at a 97% chance and Robert Charles (R) at 3%.
This prediction covers the 2026 election for Governor of Maine, held on 3 November 2026. Each answer stands for a party’s nominee: “Hannah Pingree (D)” for the Democratic nominee and “Robert Charles (R)” for the Republican nominee. The answer whose nominee wins is YES and the other is NO. A candidate counts for a party only as that party’s nominee; someone running as an independent is never counted as the Democrat or the Republican, whatever ties they have to either party. If anyone other than the two nominees wins, for example an independent, the Democratic and the Republican answer are both NO. If a listed nominee is replaced as the party’s nominee before election day, the answer is renamed and follows the replacement nominee. Further candidates may be added as answers later. The Associated Press, Fox News and NBC decide: the result is settled once all three have called the race for the same candidate; if they do not all call the same candidate, the official certified result decides. Voting ends when the polls close on 3 November 2026 (local time); no later deadline applies, and the result is settled once the outcome is established as described above, however long that takes.
Each percentage is the market’s current estimate of how likely that answer is. A contract settles at 100p if the answer is right and at 0p if it is wrong.
