This market will resolve to “Yes” if, between market creation and January 1, 2027, 05:59 CET, Argentina either: - begins pegging its currency to the United States dollar (USD), or - adopts the United States dollar as official legal tender. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement that Argentina plans to dollarize, or that dollarization will begin in the future, will not be sufficient for a “Yes” resolution. Dollarization or a qualifying peg must have actually begun within the market’s timeframe. For the purposes of this market, a qualifying peg does not need to be set at 1:1 with the U.S. dollar. This market’s resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting indicating that either of the qualifying scenarios has begun.
