YES applies if the Washington Commanders finish the 2026 NFL regular season with more than 5.5 wins, that is 6 wins or more. Only official games of the regular season count; postseason games, such as the Wild Card round, the Divisional round, the Conference Championships and the championship game, do not. Every regular-season game the Commanders play and win counts. A game that is not played adds no win, whether it is cancelled, called off because of weather, forfeited or not played for any other reason; only wins actually recorded count. If the 2026 regular season is cancelled, is postponed beyond 15 February 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or the Commanders' win total cannot be determined by then, NO applies. Official NFL records decide; reliable news coverage may also be used.
