YES is reached if Anthropic publicly states by 31 December 2027 at 11:59 PM ET that it plans to file, or has filed, for bankruptcy of any kind. The public statement is enough even if a court filing occurs later. It must come through a verified Anthropic channel from its CEO, lawyers, or another official representative; a definitive body of reliable reporting can also establish it. Rumour, insolvency speculation, or restructuring without a bankruptcy statement does not count. Otherwise NO.
Each percentage is the market’s current estimate of how likely that answer is. A contract settles at 100p if the answer is right and at 0p if it is wrong.
