As of 12 October 2026, 23:13 UTC, versus prices Yes at a 4% chance and No at 96%.
YES if California is scheduled for a quarterfinal game in the 2026 College Football Playoff. This means either winning the opening playoff round or holding a seed from 1 through 4 and receiving a bye, leaving eight teams in that round. NO otherwise. If the 2026 playoff is cancelled, or no quarterfinal is played by 11:59 PM ET on January 13, 2027, the prediction is NO. Official College Football Playoff information at https://collegefootballplayoff.com controls; if unavailable, established corroborating reports may be considered. Any delay or uncertainty preventing confirmation by that cutoff also gives NO.
Each percentage is the market’s current estimate of how likely that answer is. A contract settles at 100p if the answer is right and at 0p if it is wrong.
